HI Shakil
What do you mean by "verified domains?" How do you verify a domain? and also you said "merge tags?" Can you explain that a little bit more? Thanks.
Hi everyone, I'd love to hear from anyone who has direct experience with this, especially experienced sellers/buyers - in your experience do any autoresponders have better deliverability then others? Regarding the delivery rate of emails, we can say that Aweber autoresponder is definitely at the top of the list.
In general, Aweber adapts to a wide variety of platforms such as WordPress, Cyfe, Paypal as well as various social networks and many others.
As a matter of fact, Aweber has made an agreement with email services (like Yahoo! Mail (Oath), Google Mail, AOL, âŠ) so that emails sent through Aweber servers are not considered like spams since the receivers have dutifully agreed to receive messages the moment they added voluntarily their email address to a contact list.
Hi Shakil, I appreciate your reply and the help to make sure I've done everything I need to - I've taken care of all of those points and I'll continue to look those over, but would still like to know about people's experience with the general deliverability of autoresponders if anyone in the community has any?
Like has anyone had lower deliverability with GetResponse?
Thanks,
Gabriel

Hello, Gabriel,
Thank you for writing your query here.
Whatever autoresponder you use, if you want to maximize the reach of your email marketing campaigns, youâll need to do everything possible in order to avoid being flagged as spam. Make sure the follow-up emails are not going into the junk/spam folders. It might be the reason to reduce the email opening rate.
Here are some best practices to keep your emails from falling into spam folders:
- Make sure all recipients have actually opted-in to receiving your emails.
- Send your campaign from a good IP address; that is, an IP address that hasnât been used by someone else who has sent spam in the past.
- Send through verified domains.
- Keep any code clean.
- Use merge tags to personalize the âTo:â field of your campaign.
- Show subscribers how to whitelist your emails and ask them to add you to their address book.
- Avoid the excessive use of âsalesyâ language (these are spam trigger words like âbuyâ, âclearanceâ, âdiscountâ, or âcashâ).
- Donât âbait-and-switchâ by using deceptive subject lines.
- Include your location.
- Include an easy way for subscribers to opt-out of your emails.
I hope this helps.

Hi everyone,
I'd love to hear from anyone who has direct experience with this, especially experienced sellers/buyers - in your experience do any autoresponders have better deliverability then others?
I'm using GetResponse, but an experienced marketer told me him and his students have found deliverability rates to be lower with GetResponse versus Aweber or Active campaign. He said open rates are as much as 10% or higher with the later two solutions.
Can anyone verify this or share their experience in this area?
The open rate for my initial email in a sequence I'm running various solo ads orders through is about 15% which seems low given I warmed up email account, domain is in good standing etc.
Thanks,
Gabriel
