I concur, the whole point of solo ads is that they send our email, otherwise we may as well just do PPC by ourselves.

I don't know if Audrius is still on here but I'm looking for UK only subscribers too. Offer is MMO.

You mean they already get a text box appear if they press reject? If so, then excellent, it only takes them 10 seconds to write it, no excuses left!

^ Exactly that. It's called customer service. I agree silence is rude and disrespectful. To Udimi: Maybe after clicking the reject button, a text box can appear where the seller has to type out a reason? But polite sellers could do that now. You made your point very well Andy.

Required or not, I think it would be courteous to write a quick sentence explaining why you rejected the customer's order. It takes all of 10 seconds and the customer could appreciate it.

Interesting insights and points well made. Food for thought.

Interesting insights here and much appreciated. I may offer a slightly different perspective, not because I think you're wrong but hopefully because it will help us all learn a bit more: My intention with my list building is to grow a relationship with the subscribers - i.e., not a churn an burn list.
To that end, my squeeze page is to get quality subscribers and not so much those who just opt in to every page thrown in front of them only to forget they ever subscribed to you in the first place after a few days.
With that in mind, my squeeze page also includes
- my photo - my signature - and a headline of about 10-15 words. - That way they know who I am and my name (so know to expect me in their inbox and avoid spam complaints days later), and hopefully know specifically what they subscribed for with my slightly more descriptive headline.
Basically I’m thinking ahead to sales
The thing is, I do this and it does work. On the other hand I can’t say I’ve done it the way Heather and Christopher have described here so have no comparison. I’d imagine you get a lot of inactive subscribers with the squeeze page you laid out…wouldn’t that defeat the purpose of higher optins, or am I incorrect?

Report it. I have had this too from a certain seller. But let's do some deduction first. 1) have you tried running some of the emails through Facebook and seeing if real people come up? About half of them should show up. Google the rest and most of the rest should show up in some shape or form. If not, then you might be getting fake emails. 2) Of those that do show up on Facebook, they could have been subscribed without their knowledge and that's why they're not opening your emails. Assuming you're not using double optin, that is very easy for a rogue seller to scrape some emails then use them to optin to your offer. It might be worth sending some of them a personal email (outside of your autoresponder) and seeing if they are aware of opting in. Word it tactfully though. It's a crying shame that buyers have to do this in the first place though, borderline criminal.

He seems a nice guy.

I like to time my campaigns to the day. I know they have 90 hours to finish but it defeats the purpose of us selecting the day in the order page.
What then happens is I get 2 sellers delivering at the same time because neither of them began on the day I set. This makes it a bit of a nuisance to track and analyze conversions their clicks.

Udimi Team, I will do this weekend, thanks. Christopher Mollo, those stats are from my own tracking software.

I've noticed that a lot of my clicks are empty clicks, with a shocking percentage of 0-secs time spent on page. Even some of the optins I'm suspicious if they are actually real emails, because a large portion of those never engage again. I've been in this game a long time, so know false activity when I see it.
This is not what solo ads are supposed to be, and sellers need to be held more accountable as per what Nathan and Chris have described.
I think this is able to go on because Udimi comprises with mainly newbie buyers and long-time sellers. So the sellers do what they do, while the newbie buyers don't know any difference.

Usually I use my own tracking links but I want to try out Udimi's tracking link. I followed the instructions but Udimi didn't detect the pages. Where do you insert the code on WordPress? The individual pages don't have a tag. Thanks.

Valuable information. Thanks. I'm split testing all the time. Currently I'm testing for the quality of subscribers if I include "Free" or not in the swipe and squeeze page - testing how many buy from my followup emails... Still collecting the data though. Thanks for sharing yours, Kelvin. Particularly useful is the privacy warning. I thought the opposite!
