Hi Everyone,

Just to give all of you an update. As of late I have been dealing with a bunch of Russian hackers who have decided to spoof and spam hammer with my domain.

Even with DKIM and some other protections in place this has taken a toll on my IP and Domain reputation which has slowed my deliver ability considerably.

Therefore, I have had to refund a number of solos

As a business decision I have decided to close for new orders until I can get new IPs and a domain warmed up.

Thank you for your understanding,

Heather Alessandra

After being both buyer and seller for many years I have to say my personal preference is to leave traffic unfiltered, provided that it is not fake or duplicate clicks.

I have seen sales come in from some very remote countries. I have seen sales come in from proxies and other traffic classifications as well.

Moreover, I think in general pure T1 is just overpriced from a buyers perspective.

I understand why a seller would charge what they do because there are higher costs associated with acquiring and extracting it.

In general lists here on Udimi are mainly built on English speakers so just on that fact alone you are going to get very high rates of T1 without paying extra.

With regard to Mobile. Remember today there is more mobile traffic then desktop today. So instead of filtering it I would highly encourage you to make sure your funnel is optimized for it.

My 2 cents from being in the field all this time.

Heather

Screw autoresponder companies. Host yourself. Send as much as you want and get better deliverability!

Aweber, Get Response and most of the others are bunch of ignorant, self righteous assholes.

Uncle D.

Interesting your using Strip. I love them and will try it with my account next time. As far as I am concerned they are sent from heaven :)

However, what feature are you using to push the money to sellers Stripe accounts? Is that some new service of theirs?

Yes, what are the "restricted" areas?

Everything seems fairly normal on my end right now. How big of a difference are you seeing?

It's a great platform as long as you have REAL HUMAN traffic. Sell garbage and you will get a banned like king of Facebook Manny Hernandez!

Search for a Seller named Fabian Tan, he is from Singapore and might be able to help you out.

Yes those would be filtered clicks. Depending on the seller they may either pass them to you or reroute them. However, they would never be counted as purchased clicks.

Thanks for clarification. I know the incomes and GDP per capita are some of highest in the world. It's a great country. I have only been there once about 5 years ago. Had a great time! Need to make it back to asia in general soon.

I get lots of buyers from Germany, France, India (yes, India!), Thailand but the MOST sales come from countries where English is the official language and median incomes are at the upper end of the scale.

Singapore will never be considered T1 because the national language is Malay. While there are lots of English speakers and money there in order for it to be considered T1 the national language has to be English.

This is my exact advise as well!

I find swipes overall work better when they are simple. My theory is most people just want to get straight to the point and avoid the BS.

Same with squeeze pages. I can't stress SIMPLE enough! Some of the highest converting squeeze pages I have seen are on a pure white background, 5 words, single email text box and submit button. NOTHING ELSE, and I mean NOTHING ELSE!

Despite being around since the beginning of time the actual rules of how to make high volume email work SUCCESSFULLY are very cryptic and sorta of closely guarded secrets. I am going to PM you some information that might be helpful but it is beyond the scope of this thread.

Cheers,
Heather

Just curious what does an "unfair deal" look like to you?

I don't know about here on Udimi, but he had a number of resellers on the outside.

I respectfully disagree. I don't see any mass acceleration in bot traffic. Just sounds like your having deliverability issues. I run my own MTA, maintain my own IP reputation so I have access to deep inboxing analytics on a individual mail provider level. What I am seeing lately is just stronger filtering, throttling and deferral. In particular yahoo is just being a pain in the rear. I am attaching a current snapshot of some of my analytics from today but the bottom line I would contact your mail providers. Moreover, I would check out their smtp ip reputation using senderscore.org .

Well I need my sleep. Going to bed after 3am makes it hard for me to function the next day!

Uncle D, did you ever consider making the "Solo Deals" spots a Reverse Auction? So it could start off at say 150 bucks and as time goes on the price falls?

I don't even know how to get a solo deal these days. Every time I go to buy there are never any slots and so many of times when it says it will be available are in the middle of the night!

"How many opt-ins do you guys usually get before people started actually signing up for product?"

So many variables involved to answer that question! I agree with Donte "test, test. test" .

But I will also add my 2 cents.

Assuming you have the basics down in terms of design and pricing I have found to get an idea of how a squeeze page, sales page will convert I need to test it OVER THOUSANDS of clicks from MANY different sellers.

100, 500 or even a thousand I found not to give me deep enough analytics into the long term performance.

Then I look at the averages to see if it is something I want to continue pursing, tweak or scrap and move on.

Hope that helps!
