Your questions are very reasonable, but I tend to agree with Joshua about sending out a lot of cold messages. Every now again a mentor, or product maker will tell his audience the ‘right way’ to buy solo ads. This leads to a large number of people all sending the exact same questions to lots of vendors, and then only buying a few clicks. Busy vendors often ignore the messages because they look a bit spammy and it can be a waste of time replying to them all. I’m not saying that is what you are doing, but sadly many vendors will put you in the same category.
That is why Joshua’s advice about posting in the forum is a good idea.
I took a look at your squeeze page by the way, and it looks pretty good. You will get fewer sign-ups by asking for a name and an email address, but if you want to personalise your email follow-up messages, you might get better engagement with their name.

The vendor will send their list an email with your link in it, and then when someone clicks on the link, they will go to your squeeze page.
You can ask a vendor to let you sign up to their list which will allow you to see the email with your link in it. Not every vendor will be keen because it can cause disputes, but many will.
