Hi All,

we published a change to click filter.

From today you can select filtering levels you want to apply to seller's traffic. For newbie buyers there is a detailed description for each filtering level.

In addition we have improved click statistics to include more information about each click.

Best, Uncle Dimitry.

I agree as well. More and more people use proxies just to protect their own privacy because of all the snooping.

I also know lots of IM'ers that use VPS's to do their work as the connections are far better then their home based Internet.

The bottom line is that most of the improvements made here on Udimi are to give the buyer a better experience, and I totally respect that. In the end it will also help the seller because they will get good feedback from their buyers. However, we have to be careful not to make it an issue where a seller has to send 200 clicks just to fill a 100 click solo. There needs to be a system of checks and balances for both the buyer and the seller, and I think that's what Uncle Dimitry is trying to achieve. For the most part, I like all of the changes being made.

That's great. Overall, I like the direction that the site is going in. I think it's already probably one of the most trusted sites to purchase solos, and these improvements are only going to help to weed out the scammers and make Udimi even safer & better. I can't believe how far it's some since the "old days" of selling solos over at Safe Swaps!

The only issue that I have with sending filtered clicks to the over delivery URL is that when I send out the swipe to my subscribers it promises a certain thing, such as a video course or ebook. If the subscriber clicks on the link expecting to receive that specific ebook and happens to get filtered, they will now end up going to my over deliver link, which is not going to be what that were promised in the swipe. I am afraid this could anger some of my subscribers and result in possible unsubscribes or a spam complaints. As a rule I do not use the over delivery feature at all for this reason. How would this affect the filtered clicks? Would they just go to the buyer as filtered clicks as they normally have been doing?

I can tell you after extensive testing with swipes and redirects. Most people spend 3 seconds or less reading them. They are drawn much more to the links. So use a generic anchor text there and you will be fine.

we can also make a fullscreen message for the user, like "Sorry, this offer expired, redirecting you to similar site"

This way visitors will be prepared for something different.

I agree with Christopher, I don't much like sending people to a different link than what was specified in the email. I would prefer to just send all traffic to the buyer and raise the price if need be to compensate for filters.

the overdelivery is not working right. I have even set ti all the way up to 50% and for instance on a 100 click solo it would nver go above 106 all the click kept getting returned. Only way to finish the orders is to turn overdelivery off. It seems it is counting the filtered or returned clicks as part of the overdelivery or something.
I have 2 orders now that will not accept any more clicks and they are returning 100% of the clicks even though the orders both have not even reached the amount of clicks ordered let alone the OD which is now at 12%

WOOW. 60-65% redirecting with new filters like mob and web!!!!! Nonsense - then CPC should be from $0.85 and UP. I will not sell any solos with these type of filters at so low price like 0.43. Thx God that I must send only 100 clicks (actually 260). 260 CLICKS To 100 clicks order WITHOUT any overdelivery.

TOP Udimi AWards, TOP % Sales Ratio, TOP Repeat buyers for years, TOP Reviews

Indulis Staskiewicz,

We all feel your pain :) Uncle D stated earlier seller controls are on the way or at least in the plan. But I fully agree with you. I would sell all desktop for atleast a buck a click.

be sure to set overdelivery to your own percentage, not 50%. I believe anything up to 10% is enough.

for all issues that seem strange to you, please send a ticket to support with solo date and customer's name. The will handle your issue as fast as possible.

I've already raised my price to .75 per click. I think a lot of other sellers will be doing the same. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this all plays out.

that's good idea. I believe that premium service from Udimi sellers must get premium price.

I'm not having any issues with that. It's sending the filtered clicks to the overdelivery link and the valid clicks to the buyer up to the overdelivery percentage I set.

for me even with OD set at 50% it will not get to the amount of clicks ordered. It just starts sending back everything. Have to turn off OD to finish solos. Works fine up to 50-75% of the order before it thinks its done. Sent in ticket.

I definitely aim to give premium services. I also like to give a big overdelivery, so that's why I set mine at 50%. So even if I were to charge $1 a click I think the buyer would still be getting a great deal. I also always include my buyers list in the solo because it's my goal to get the buyer sales. The reason for this is that when a buyer gets sales from your solo, it's almost 100% certain that they will purchase from you again.

I have even found that this can prompt buyers to start promoting your solos to their friends, business partners, etc. I never spend any money advertising my solos and I have been getting a lot of orders for several months now. Sometimes I even have to turn orders away!

I agree that it definitely pays to put your best foot forward and send the best quality clicks you can. I am pretty sure that buyers would rather pay a little more per click if they know they are going to get top quality traffic. My own personal experiences have been that most times you get what you pay for when it comes to solo ad traffic.

I also think that as a seller, it's best to try and develop regular customers. This way both parties know what they can expect, and the buyer can be confident in knowing they will get results.
