Getting disappointed in the solos I have purchased here lately..When I buy ahead for a selected date...am I wrong to expect that it at least starts on that day?..And I am seeing that 100 and 150 clicks are taking 4-5 days to deliver. Not everyone does this...but 2 out of 3 are. Is this the new normal?

I need folks to run top tier clicks for me, but can't wait three days. Its crazy. Seems longer than 90 hours especially with my offers.

Hmmm. I am just starting out selling solo ads and I read all your comments. I think that maybe I should look elsewhere to earn a living. :-( I certainly don't have the money to set up my own MTA.

I would definitely not recommend anyone to start selling solos unless they know exactly what they are doing. You can no longer use mainstream ARs like Aweber & GetResponse to deliver clicks, and that makes it a little more involved than it used to be.

What blows my mind is that there are still "coaches" out there who are instructing newbies to set up a click selling business using those autoresponder platforms. You might get away with it for a few weeks or even a few months, but eventually they WILL shut you down.

That leaves you with a couple of options. There are other ARs companies that will allow it, but they typically have very poor delivery rates. You can go with a self-hosted AR software such as ArpReach, or you can do what Heather is doing, which requires a large initial investment and maintenance fees and lots of technical knowledge. I admit I have no idea how Heather is doing it and no desire to learn how!

For me selling solos is just one of several income streams that I have that when you add them all together results in a pretty good income. However, I would never want to take on solo selling as my one and only way to pull in income. It's simply too unpredictable.

I'm not trying to discourage you, just trying to make you aware that there is a lot to it and it's not near as easy as some of these "coaches" and "gurus" would have you believe. That's not to say you can't do it. If you want it bad enough and you put your mind to it I'm sure you can achieve your goal.

Thanks Christopher, I think I agree with you. I am not in a financial position to take any risks. I do make a few bucks here and there but it's early days for me. I will look into Fiverr and see what I can do there. Regards, Bob.

yes their is nothing worse to order a solo ad and the seller canceled the day it was too start. I was already behind before the seller done this makes me think twice before i use this site any more. Are we allowed to call out bad sellers on the forum?
