Anthony, you are better off putting a capture page and then redirecting them to a sales page after as OTO. This way you have the best of both worlds, you capture the lead and are able to offer the lead an opportunity to get deal on you digital product. If you need any help getting a capture page set-up just let me know...

OK, that sounds great. What type of offer are you promoting. ClickBank?

OK, there are free option and paid options. As with anything free there's always a catch, which may cost you with time and/or limited features.
The free options usually you don't have much control and you may be shut down if they decide to take it away. Also support is limited with the free options or require you pay an upgrade or support contract at the time you need it.
The paid options give you more control, additional features, templates, are typically click and point what-you-see-is-what -you-get (WYSIWYG) solutions and you have support that can help you throughout the process.

Better would be the paid option as the results from landing pages would be much better than the free options. It all depends on your budget..
