Filter Prices??

Hi Guys,

I know this was discussed previously but guessing nothing done about it :

I had an order today -- For 100% Tier 1, all filters --- cost = $61.00

Now from that I was to pay an affiliate $9.15 ....... so now at $51.85

UDIMI then takes their cut so probably left with $47 ........

Now I will ask again, who as a seller would sell a solo for 100% Tier 1 Traffic all filters applying for $47???

Can you guess what I did????

Correct, rejected so the affiliate has lost $9.15 and the buyer will need to go and try and find someone else to do a 100% Tier 1 with all filters applying for $47 ......

Anyway it can be as before that we set own prices and then maybe affiliates will get their $10 and the buyer gets the solo they want

Cheers for now :)

turn off affiliate program... nobody will advertise you and you won't have to pay $9.15 to anybody.

Udimi is a free site.

Except WTS threads we make $0.00

However, we are spending thousands on the server, developers, support team, bandwidth, click tracking, click filters, geolocation, proxy detection and many other costs associated with running such a large site.

In addition to that, we pay 2% fee to PayPal from each free withdrawal you do.

To cover these huge expenses, we add tiny interest to your click price. Example: if you are selling at $0.30 per click, buyers will see $0.33.

Udimi Team understand that - for 100 Tier 1,I charge $65 can't do that as the price has been set too low by UDIMI

I agree with Tommy. The seller should be able to set their own price for the filters rather than have to reject the order if it comes in with filters. Udimi's commission is added on after that it could be $0.03 per click or 10% of the total order, whatever it takes for Udimi to make money. I don't think any of us begrudge Udimi for making money. Services that don't make money typically cease existing and that doesn't help any of us.

it's not a problem to change the price, but we have to come up with a price which is affordable for buyers, yet profitable for sellers.

I suggest you to create a thread with and ask for opinions. After you come up with perfect price, we'll change it sitewide.

Why can't you let each seller set it for themselves? You could add a per seller configuration which defaults to the current price.

Hey Liz, I was thinking the same thing. I actually like it because I had a guy that made 0 sales on his order and said I have bogus traffic...WHAT?!?. lol I was like with the new Udimi filters there is NO WAY any bad traffic is getting through these days. lol I don't mind the filters, I just send the customer extra clicks or send them to an affiliate offer, so it works great. The only time its a problem for me is at night when I have clicks set for a particular customer and I wake up and their order still isn't finished because I didn't account for all the filter clicks...
