you should be able to use that button before you place an order. If you can't I would suggest contacting support.

Hey Andy, it's a bit late now mate unfortunately. I already started my first solo with udimi. But when I clicked on that symbol, it said quite clearly that I couldn't use that feature until after my first solo. Go figure !

To protect Udimi from spam and fraud, we do not allow messaging before a person makes the first payment.
This way we identify users by payment and physical information, not just email or IP.
