Hey Tom,
10 optins out of 100 is ridiculously low.
You could just about throw random words together on a page and do better than that!
Ok, I'm being flippant. But it is hellish low ;)
Regarding writing your own email, - many vendors won't even allow you to do that. They say they know what their list expects way more than you do, and I believe that to be true. So unless there's some amazing reason why you want to write it yourself, I;d just leave them to it.
If I were you I'd be having a good look at your landing page and trying to figure out why it converted so badly.
For the record, (in case you're new to this), 30-35% is ok. 45-50% is easily achievable with a bit of practice. Anything above that is really good and you should be making notes of what you did so that you can keep doing it into the future :)
Hope that helps Tom.
Cheers,
Paul

30% to 50% requires a very appealing squeeze page and experience, new solo buyers don't usually have the skills required to do this. 10% to 20% is more realistic. Think about if you showed something to 100 people in real life, maybe 1 or 2 would be interested?

Hello
Thanks for the reply if I had created the landing pages I would agree with you. But they were created by a season pro who spends probably close to $20,000 a month running solo ads. What I did do was create a solo text message which may help his list decide if my offer was for them.

Someone spending $20,000 a month consistently on solo ads? I would have to see some proof to believe that.

Hello
Here is a screenshot to the optin page and you will recognize him right away.
and I am pretty sure he said $20000. It may be hard to read the text, but if you want a better image let me know where to send the link. Should this optin have gotten more than 10 Optins out of a 100 clicks. Thanks for the help and I am not trying to sell you anything

"Partner With Anthony Today" is an average call to action at best. Looks hard to view on a mobile screen which is usually half of visitors. Optin percentage will be different every send with each seller and list and each optin page. Good luck.
