If a buyer who never made purchases and is not hardcoded under any Udimi affiliate visits your "Recommended list", he'll receive your affiliate cookie. If then he makes the first purchase, he'll be hardcoded under you. It works similar to your affiliate link.
What is the "my recommended link" for? It seems to go to the same page as the "my profile" link goes to.
