I would say he has a strong list of subscribers that are interested. But if you didnt get any optins then i would think something else.
Nothings wrong with rotating links long as you are on the top of the rotation (position #1) If someone is repeatedly clicking the link do you really want them on your list?? Either they sign up or dont. Personally i dont want tire kickers.

100 clicks is not very much to be honest...I deliver a minimum of 5000 clicks per day..over about 12 hours so that 415 per hour...so as long as these leads open on your email sequence you are fune
