What's the difference between having your vendor write the 'custom ad text' vs. not having that? I see some of them offer that, but others don't. Can you explain to me how this works since I'm such a rookie? LOL .
I'm just really trying to visualize this: If you only give them your 'link' to your offer.... So what exactly do the potential customers see on their emails? Is it just an email with a link?
Thanks you!

Hi Andres,
If you choose to provide the sellers the Ad Link only, the seller will be the one to write the Ad Text (email swipe) for you. While others would write custom ad texts for you that fits what you want visitors to see on your email swipe for an extra charge.
On the other hand, if you choose to provide the Ad Text yourself to the seller, then it will be the one he will use as the email swipe. Ideally, it is better to have your own Ad Text as no one knows you business offers better than you.
Our recommendation is, if it's your first time ordering from a seller, reach out to them before placing your order to discuss what ad text he will use for your solo ad or other agreements you and the seller may have before starting your campaign.
You can also contact us customer support on the https://udimi.com/help section if you have concerns about your solo ad orders.
Thank you.

The only job an ad text does is get the sub to open the email . Good vendors will have ad texts that do that job well . Your sales page will do the selling

Hi Andres, writing your own "ad text" or "opt-in" page or "capture page" (basically all the same) is key IMO because you better understand the product you are promoting. The link you prepare and provide your seller should be one that attracts the buyer to click and provide you leads which will includes their email contact. Once a buyer provides you their email, the capture page would send the buyer to your sales page. Email swipes are basically written to follow up with potential buyers who left you their email address. Don't ever just provide the a link to your sales page to the seller without a capture page as sales are generally generated through following up on leads. Hope this helps.
