Hello,

I'm just wondering, what's a decent opening ratio for the emails you send to your list?

My list has an average 15% of openers, and a little more than 2% of clicks on the links.

Is it a good or a bad average? What are your numbers?

Thank you.

Paolo

Do you segment your leads. Engagement rates impact delivery to inboxes

Hi Kujtim, thanks your sharing your statistics. My numbers are low comparing to yours.

Thank you Bill, I'm quite new to mail marketing. I'll follow your suggestion and reorganize my lists.

You're welcome.

I am doing what Bill's saying.

The stats you see are from openers only

Kujtim is that with using an smtp service or just your own server's smtp/sender. Nice results.

Guga’s Result are easy for anyone that really understand how email works. Segment your openers and only mail them. Keep engagement rates high and your emails land in the in box. don’t use stupid spammy emails and you can keep your Ip’s going for a long time. Having your own self hosted server is easy if you have some patience and study enough to understand what the ISP’s want.... low bounce rate, high engagement and no spam complaints.... Bingo! problem is most people are to eager to make 40 bucks so they mess up their investment into their owner severs....patience - money

Great info here mate.. What self hosted do you recommend?

i have used SendGrid with Mail Poet in the past. I am going to test Mail Poet with its own dedicated SMTP sending service soon.

Right now I am getting 15% opens with Get Response

I actually have my own smtp servers and completely custom front end. I have a staff of programmers and engineers. My main business is institutional email for large companies. Udimi is extra money...which my wife spends...lol. I started in internet marketing in 2004 so I like keeping my foot in the business. I have 45% open but I only email segments openers.
