Make a bridge page first to capture emails, and then send them to an offer :)

You could have a landing page to grow your subscriber list, then forward people to your blog after they optin. Then followup with additional emails for pages of your blog to continue getting traffic to your blog.

If you expect to send email traffic to your blog and make money from people clicking affiliate links you are kidding yourself.
Best bet is to grow an email list and then automatically email your list member all your post. You can win a loyal reader and someone that will click on links.
