How to create a funnel
Funnels help you see how visitors move through your site. It's easy to identify and fix any points where customers drop off.
By breaking down the customer journey into clearly defined steps, you can capture leads more effectively, build trust and engagement and improve conversions.
Example use: Registration / optin and sale tracking
I'll describe how to setup a funnel on an example, where I wish to track how many visitors from a solo ad registered on my site, how many from them visited payment page (but decided not to buy) and finally how many made a purchase.
So, I have 4 steps in my funnel:
1. Visitor landed on my site >>> 2. Registered (became my optin) >>> 3. Opened the payment page >>> 4. Successfully paid
Step 1

Visitors land on my site, Buysoloads.com, so I'll use its URL as the first step.
You may have noticed that I've added "/?solo=huy" at the end. I am using this tag to track the sender of my solo ad. It will most likely work without any additional setup on your site as well—just give it a try. If it displays the content correctly, then you can use this trick.
Step 2

The second page is the one my subscribers see after they have opted in.
Step 3

Third step is a payment page of my site. Visitors who drop on this step have seen the payment form, but did not complete a purchase. Analyzing this page and understanding why visitors leave will increase the conversion rate.
Step 4

Now the last page, successful payment confirmation page. This page is inside member zone and may have different URLs, so I'll just use page title matching.
Done, verify

Now we have to go through all the pages of your funnel to make sure the setup is correct. If you have installed the code on your site, just click Start verification. If not, then install Udimi tracking first.
The system shows that it is waiting for your visits. Once it detects your visit, it will show green Detected sign.

Check statistics

As time progresses, you will observe the conversion rate statistics for each step of the process, in addition to the overall conversion rate for your entire funnel.
By monitoring these metrics, you can gain valuable insights into which stages are performing well and which ones may require optimization. This detailed analysis will enable you to make informed decisions to enhance the effectiveness of your marketing strategy and ultimately improve your funnel's performance.
