Suggestion for Solo Deals

Suggestion for Solo Deals

Things are crazy when some people bump their solo deals up to twice per day.

I recommend that Udimi allow a seller one Solo DEAL only and then to not be able to bump until that deal sinks at least 15 spots. It just more fair to everyone.

It used to be like this way...We could not bump until the original deal slipped to number 15. Now that we can open multiple Solo Deals people can have as many as they need.

Several solo sellers have quit buying solo deal because of this.

Just a recommendation. Best of luck everyone.

I barely even bump mine anymore, it gets bumped out the top 10 within hours, I agree with this :)

Sorry, the video seems to be gone now, so all good

I agree with Bill, Bumping twice a day or even every day is not acceptable, I am going to stop this practice soon as a few members are spoiling things for others who are just trying to get going.

Support. You end up having to find the perfect time to bump in which others wont knock you off the first page in a matter of hours..

If you offer 100% T1,15% at $0.4 and still don't make enough sales to cover the cost of your solo deal bump, the problem is somewhere else ;)

I don't and I do well on most bumps...BUT many times Ive bumped and within an hour I am number 5.

I've tried bumping at all sort of time frames. I just feel a system that allows everyone the same opportunity to bump would be fair. Not an advantage to me or anyone just more fair to everyone.

I am with you on pricing for sure. I'd like to see the standard lowered so more people would be forced to buy Top Tier 1 which pays more. Finding new way to sell at a lower price is just foolish in my mind. I sell elsewhere for way more money....Used to be the other way around. I get many 50 clicks orders for 50 bucks with my own sites...so pricing is a cop out.

I love Udimi anyway!

Best to all of you

Bill

I agree with William, I'm trying to get myself established in the Solo Ad Vendor market, but find it hard as a newbie when as pointed out your Solo Deal is off the first page in a matter of no time flat.

I'm not in the same league as a lot of the Seller's here on Udimi, as I haven't been in the game long enough.

So spending money has to be a carefully consider option for me and when you have to do it what seems like every 5 minutes so to speak it's hard for the Newbie.

If we could level the playing field to give everyone a fare go that would be awesome in my opinion.

Your 100% right John, it's not easy to get going selling on Udimi, I can make alot more profit from my own website at lower prices, I can't bump much anymore because it's expensive but that also affects sales. I think Williams idea would level the playing field and help people like yourself and be more fair to all sellers.

Having said that I can't see it happening as Udimi is making lots of profit from bumps alone. Apart from things like this Udimi is a good platform for me.

Hello, i would first lower your visitor seller minimum to 100 not 500. Also, using Bing and make some ppc. Olivier Thibeault

I seem to be completely banned from adding friends. Couldn't we just have like a 10 or 20 per day friend request limit? Seems a bit harsh to just not be allowed to add any friends period. Always makes me feel good when someone adds me as a friend.

For a new seller like me who thinks to start selling on Udimi, this is good news because if not, where is my luck?

I have to be honest here, i think this is one of the worst solutions in recent times, this takes us backward, not forward in UDIMI, if you get a bad bump like i did now you are stuck until you fall of page one, this can potantionally mean severeal days without any decent result. This will affect the selling potentioal bigtime for most sellers. I don't like this at all, go forward UDIMI, not backwards!

And for the love of god, don't do the same with the promoted spots as well. I have a really hard time to see the positive sides of this changes... Just my two cents.

Andreas has a point, limiting bumping is not so good for power sellers. Google doesn't "limit" your bid on each keyword lol. Basically no other site "limits" people from buying ads in the name of fairness. Whoever wants the tops spots competes for them with their paid bumps is how things seems to work best, when you are ready for more sales you pay to bump your post. But its up to Udimi.

Thank you James for sharing my thoughts, i think more will realize that this might not be the best ide, it might sound good in theory but the practical part is a whole another thing.

I'm afraid that by locking yourself down like this will only lead to a loss for most sellers if not all in the long run, future results is going to be scarce at some point/days and not be able to do something about it is scaring me.
