Anyone else had their percentage of filtered clicks increased today?
My last 4 solos were 30-34% which is pretty high anyway but currently sending a solo and it's 42%.

It´s must be duplicate clicks that gets filtered as spam clicks, many people these days are getting higher precetich of duplicate clicks and i think at a certain point UDIMIS filtering system mistakenly marks these as bots clicks because they click a lot, there simply no other reusable explanation that it can be so much fake traffic all of a sudden. I think most of that have been one big issue all the time. Saying that there isn't something wrong with there filtering system is just not a plausible explanation.

Most of mine are showing as Botnet or traffic exchange. I doubt they are duplicates as I only send unique clicks to the tracking link.

I get a few of those botnet things...funny thing is if I set my redirect up to another Udimi order it's fine no problem with order

But you are selling to more then one on UDIMI at a time right? So that would mean that even one link don't get duplicate clicks but another one could get the same visitor sent to another link, i think that if this happens to many times during a certain time frame, lets say 20 times over a certain timeframe i think UDIMI mistakenly thinks it's bot traffic. There simply no reasonable way that there is so much fake and exchange traffic going around. This must be a filtering issue. Not a problem with your visitors, i find that very unlikely. I experience the same issue and i know i don't send bot or traffic exchange clicks.

it's weird it happens in streaks...certain customer it always happens too. Like if they order 100 clicks sometimes I have to send 200 clicks....but the filtered clicks go to another customer with no problem. I am convinced the issue happens based on something on the client side

At the moment I'm just sending to one. The previous solos finished over 12 hours ago. If you're right, it could mean that if other sellers have the same subs on their lists, they too could be flagged as botnet.

It would be useful if Udimi could provide us with more information about how the filtering actually works.

I'm having to send between 50% and 75% extra, it makes the CPC very low.

Well william, i think that fits in with what i wrote above. If a certain person clicks many times, they will think its a bot. Ofcourse this is speculation only. But there certainly seems to be an issue with how udimi defines a bot/traffic exchange click. There must be many false positives, theres simply no other plausible way to explain this. Its not like our traffic all of a sudden became 30-50% bot traffic.

Andy ...don't look at the money break down now in the money section...makes me want to cry to see how much is deducted on each sales. People selling clicks for .30 are losing money and they don't even know it...lol. Probably why they don't stay in business long.

I have been complaining about lost clicks for months and months....I will says this... the problem is a lot better then it used to be.

If it continues like this I will have to raise my prices, the buyer will lose out.

For that to happen, they would have to admit there is an issue and from previous threads, I don't think that is likely.

I started at 40 cents a clicks I am now at 53 cents... I learned I had to charge more to reinvest into my list and keep it fresh...

I haven't followed all threads. But i think its obvious there is an issue.

Maybe not that their coding of the filter is wrong, but the way the filter works now its obvious there are false positives. Maybe they are afraid to loose on the filtering because then actual fake traffic could make it through the system. (Again speculation)

But i really don't understand why, if people buy, they get good results and come back, isn't that all proof needed that the traffic is good. Customers will just freak out when they see 45% filtered traffic. It really doesn't benefit anyone. And actual fake traffic wouldn't make it through in the long run anyway, because results of customers would be SHIT.

I don't see the winner, only losers really.

The fact that William sends some filtered traffic to other Udimi links and it isn't filtered would indicate there is something wrong somewhere.

It tends to be with the same clients as well. I had one order that was horrible and a friend of mine here at Udimi had an order with the same client...he had the same problem.... the client and I have been doing business for years... it was his account configuration... now is it Udimi's link system, mine or the clients.... well I don't know.

Stills all said the problem is a lot better then it was in June

Noticed a 40/50 %filtered as well. Missed campaigns because of it. Anonymous ip's are filtered as well.
